Fire can be fought fast safely when the best method is chosen. Fire is an ever present accident in particular whilst Offshore oil or gas exploration and platform hook up. So, it requires most powerful fire fighting equipment to overcome these hazards and JOFFCO offers Aqueous Film Forming Foam (AFFF) Premix Foam Units. These are manufactured to meet the international standards. They conform to with current Jordanian standard regulations and can be selected to meet NFPA recommended rating. It is suitable for both temporary as well as permanent offshore duties.

The construction of this unit is of rugged welded steel with stainless steel nuts, bolts, hinges etc. These self – contained packages incorporate either with a 500 Lit or 1000 Lit premixed pressure vessel. These vessels are normally pressurized for immediate operation using dry nitrogen supplied from Cylinder(s) fitted with regulators housed in a steel locker. The operating valves are also positioned in this locker for local operation to which access is gained via the hinged door.

One hose reel comprising of 30 – 60 m x 25 mm dia rubber hose terminating in a 190 Lit / min aspirating foam nozzle may be fitted to the SFS 1200. Both skid units may be supplied with remote actuation gear for remote hose reel operation.
